Andys 1999 Land Cruiser Cummins Swap

Well after 2 years of planning and collecting parts and lining up all the needed resources we have started! The build officially began Monday, March 15th. Well, you could say the teardown began. Gutting the car. Pulling the Engine, Trans, Transfer Case, Cooling, Drivelines, Fuel Tanks, etc. This is a petrol 1FZ-FE so a lot of things being changed over to diesel. Filler Neck, Tanks Lines, etc.

In this build, we will be utilizing many of the conversion parts supplied by Rockbug Industries (https://www.rockbugindustries.com). These parts have been engineered to the highest standards and provide a very straightforward approach that makes for a very easy installation.

We anticipate this will take about 4-6weeks from start to finish as we document the entire process.

Damien at Rockbug is hoping to have it sorted with vendors to be able to do this in less than a month for Drive in Drive Out later this year.

This will be an Engineered to Vicroads VASS compliance for Weight, Emissions, Noise, Clearance factoring in all the rules for roadworthiness in victoria. Including proper insurance coverage for a modified vehicle.
